Classification: Ectoparasiticide
Tickrid 12.5 is a potent ectoparasiticide for veterinary fields for the control of susceptible ticks, fleas and lice including oranophosphorus and synthetic pyrethroid resistant.
Each ml contains: Amitraz 125mg
Dip tank: Initial fill: The rate is 20ml of Tick-Rid 12.5% EC per 10 litres of water. Replenishment rate: Half the initial rate. Dip animal thoroughly. Submerge head at least once for 30 seconds minimum.
Hand Spray: Dilute before use by pouring the required amount of concentrate into the container of water and mix thoroughly by stirring.
- Dilute 20 ml per 10 litres of water (1:500) 5 litres of spray volume are enough for 1 cow. Make enough wash for the day’s use only.
- Repeat after 7 days for optimum tick and tick-borne disease control using a cattle hand spray.
- Under heavy tick challenge clipping ears and tail brushes will assist wetting.
- For hand dressing use rate of 4mls/litre (1:350).
Do not use on horses or donkeys
It is an insecticide and expellant used for the control of ticks, mites (mange), keds and line on cattle, pigs, sheep and goat
