Emamectin benzoate acts on nerve cells to suppress muscle contraction. The insect is paralyzed and stops feeding within hours ingesting, thereby preventing subsequent crop damage. Emamectin works with stomach action and should be ingested by the larvae to be most effective. Affected. Larvae gets paralysed and stops feeding shortly and exposure and subsequently dies after 2-4 days. Acetamiprid is a systemic neonicotinoid insecticide with translaminar activity and with contact and stomach action. Both active ingredients have strong synergy.
Knapsack sprayer, compression Knapsack sprayer and stirrup pump. Apply the insecticide when the incidence of larvae is first observed and repeat applications as necessary. Apply insecticide in sufficient quantity of water to ensure thorough coverage of the foliage
